ECTOPHON POWDER
Description
Ectophon powder is an organophosphorus and is used as an anthelmintic in the veterinary field for both endo and ectoparasites. The active ingredient in the Ectophon powder has very high tissue penetration when applied on the skin and also has very high stomach poison action. Thus, Ectophon powder is a very useful product in killing and control of both ectoparasites and endoparasites. The endoparasites include: Gastrophillus (bot fly) leave, Haemonchus spp, Mecistocirrus, Cooperia spp, Trichostrongylus spp, Oesophagostomum spp, Round worms of calves, Oestrus bovis, oestrus ovis and Schistosoma nasale. The ectoparasites include: migrating and skin larvae of hypoderma bovis, hypoderma lineatum and dermatobia hominis, manage and depluming mites, lice, fleas, stephanofilariasis (humpsore), dermatomycoses.
